Originally named Niagra Chocolates, SweetWorks traces its origins to Buffalo, NY, in the late 50s. They didn't totally give up the Niagra name, though, when they merged with Oak Leaf Confections in 2002. They continue to make a line of Niagra Chocolates, which include not only traditional rabbits, but also dinosaur eggs, race cars, hearts, and more. Their Celebration brand carries candies for parties and events, such as colored gumballs and soft candies. Ovation focuses on higher end flavored chocolates, such as their chocolate orange Break-A-Part candy. And of course there is Oak Leaf, which is the originator Sixlets candy, which are a huge hit for parties, events, and really any occasion.
