Concord Confections is perhaps most famous for a brand that it acquired rather than originated. In 1998 it purchased Dubble Bubble chewing gum, which went along with its other lines of gum. Other than Dubble Bubble, it is best known for Razzles, candies that turn into chewing gum. They've created many different flavors of those. They also have Candy Blox, a chalky sugar candy that resembles Lego blocks. In the early 2000s they acquired the American Candy Company, expanding its line to wax lips and candy cigars. Shortly after that, Tootsie Roll Company came calling, and in 2004 it acquired Concord Confections and all of its brands. Most of them persist today, still under the Concord banner.
