While Haribo might be the best-known gummy maker in the world, Trolli is not far behind. In fact, Trolli beat Haribo to the US market, entering in 1975 and establishing its brand of gummies to an eager public. What made the biggest difference for Trolli was the introduction of sour gummies, which soon became its focus in America. They also helped introduce the gummy-and-cream combinations, such as apple rings, that took hold in the American market. Today Trolli produces hundreds of gummy products for worldwide distribution, and has more than two dozen products in the US. These range from the familiar Trolli gummy bears and sour worms to more exotic products such sa Trop-Os, tropical-flavored rings.
