Butterfields Candy
Old-fashioned candies with a buttery twist!
Collection: Butterfields Candy
It's hard not to respect a company that sticks with what it does best. While many confectioners were busy creating brand upon brand in the early- to mid-20th Century, Butterfields was tirelessly working on what it knew: hard candies. The Buds candy line started with the Peach Bud in 1924 and grew naturally from there. Instead of going into gummy candies or chocolates, Butterfields Candy Company continued producing its signature recipe, cookied in copper kettles. When they expanded they stuck with hard candy, and fruits. Eventually they created Key Lime, Honeybell Orange, Lemon, Raspberry, and Cherry flavors, among many others. They're all made the same way people have loved for decades. As Butterfields says, they've been disappearing from candy jars since 1924.
