Cow Tales are the creation of Goetze's Candy. The company began in 1895 as the Baltimore Chewing Gum Company. The company's signature Caramel Cream was created in 1917 followed by the classic Cow Tale.
This confection was very similar to the Caramel Cream, but instead of a small disc of chewy caramel it featured a long tube (or tail) with delectable cream running through the middle. Different flavors have been added, including strawberry, vanilla, chocolate and caramel apple, but the classic version is still often considered the best!

My husband has been looking for these for ages. He absolutely loves them. He's used to the smaller candies and these were long ones. He was sooo surprised when I gave him a whole box of them. He will be a happy boy for quite awhile!

My 10 year old grandson had his first Cow Tale stick candy at school.He said it was so good and he hopes to get some in his Easter basket.I was having a hard time finding it and thanks to CANDYSTORE.com it will be in his Easter basket. I ordered these candies for a candy buffet i did for my engagement party. I wanted something nostalgic on the table for my older guests. These were an instant hit and disappeared will within the first hour of the party. I recommend purchasing 2 boxes for such an occassion! Everyone thanked me for having something they treasured as children available to them. Great product!
