The Sconza family started their eponymous candy company in 1939, and it remains in the family to this day. What started as a modest candy kitchen has turned into a large scale candy operation that includes bulk, packaged, and seasonal candies. They also do contract manufacturing for many other candy brands. They might be best known for their lemoncello almonds, but those aren't the only goodies that Sconza makes and distributes. They also have licorice, toffee nuts, jordan almonds, and a whole line of sugar free and no sugar added candies. They've also made a name for themselves with jawbreaker candies that kids love to pull out of their mouths to see the changing colors.
