Kits Taffy are what you would at one time call penny candies. They're not quite a penny these days, not even a nickel like they were in the 70s. Plenty has changed for Kits Taffy since its introduction in 1924, and the price is only the start. Eventually the company was bought by Gilliam Candy, which continues to produce Kits Taffy today. Yet even with new ownership and prices, the core of Kits Taffy remains the same. It still comes in that familiar wax paper wrapping. And it still packs the same flavor it did over 90 years ago. You can get them in strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, and banana flavors, or you can go nuts with a variety pack. However you enjoy them, you're tasting a little nostalgia with Kits.
